PRAYER

God invites each of us to be in a special relationship.

God is deeply interested in our lives, our joys, our fears, when things are going well and when things are going rough.

When we tell God about our lives, we simply call this prayer.
At Scala, we make a special commitment to pray for the young people we meet. We pray twice each day, and remember all your intentions.

On this there are some good prayers to pray at different times.

For Creation
Lord, open my eyes to the beauty of creation. Help me to do my part to care for our world.
Amen.

For Exams
Lord,
I am not looking forward to these exams:
Help me to prepare as best I can,
according to my abilities.
Please help me to cope with the stress,
to do well when the time comes!
Amen.

For Others
Sometimes Lord, I am so busy thinking of myself, that I forget the Needs of others.
Please help people all around the world who are suffering.
Encourage them and give them hope so that they may see past their difficulties and find their way to a better and brighter future.
Amen.

Night Prayer
It’s the end of another day.
Thank you for being with me today.
Please grant me a good sleep,
bless me and the whole world,
especially those who are struggling with life.
Amen
